Paul Cousino

Paul D. Cousino, 56, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born on June 23, 1969 to Forrest and Rose Marie (Schweibold) Cousino. Paul graduated at the top of his class from Nursing School. He cherished being the caregiver to his grandmother Alice Schweibold, and later his father Forrest. Paul was an animal lover, and he enjoyed feeding the deer and squirrels in his yard and caring for his cats and dogs. His passion was cooking, and he loved Thanksgiving in particular, as well as baking numerous cookies at Christmas time to share with others. And most important to him was his family; his daughter, brother and sister and his wonderful nieces and nephews. Paul's battle with cancer was relentless. He was strong, determined to stay optimistic and brave, despite the odds. He made it a point to be uplifting to those who cared for him, to be positive and kind. Surviving are his mother Rose (Al) Martinez, daughter Reanna Cousino, brother Michael (Amy) Cousino, sister Christina (Ken) Miller, and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his dear friend Richard McCoy, and his feline companion Chester. The family wishes to thank all the many caregivers who helped Paul through his battle with cancer. Words can't begin to express the comfort they brought to Paul. Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd. on Friday, November 7 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at noon. Burial will be private at Union Cemetery in Oak Harbor, Ohio.
