Eileen Rose O'Boyle

Eileen Rose O'Boyle passed away peacefully in the home she loved in the tender care of her family on April 26, 2023. Born Eileen Kreuz on March 3, 1933 in Swanton, Ohio, the third of seven children to Wendel and Virginia Kreuz. She lived a beautiful life shepherded by her strong Catholic faith and deep love for her family and numerous lifelong friends. Throughout her life, Eileen had an unparalleled work ethic. After graduating from Central Catholic in 1951, Eileen worked in the advertising department at Willys Jeep Company. In 1956, she put her career on hold to focus on what she cherished most, raising her family with her husband Edmund "Ned" O'Boyle. They were married for 49 years before his death in 2006. In the 1980's, Eileen resumed her career by starting a roommate matching business, Share -A-Home, she then became one of the most successful and highly regarded real estate agents in south Toledo. She worked for Danberry Realtors for 40 years, was a lifetime member of Ohio Association of Realtors' President's Sales Club and was the recipient of numerous awards for listing and sales volume. She had a love for people, helping the needy, playing Bridge with friends, reading and traveling. She had a warm heart and infectious laugh: to know her was to love her. Her most cherished asset was her family and her legacy will live on through each of them. She is survived by her son, Michael (Laura); daughter, Kathleen (Chris) Lowry, daughter, Elizabeth (Steve) Estelle. Grandchildren, Ned, Jack and Reid O'Boyle, Gunnar Nixon, Eva Lowry, Reece, Alec and Courtney Estelle; brother, Harry (Kathy) Kreuz; sister-in-law, Jacquie Kreuz, numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marybeth and husband, Edmund. Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Road, on Monday May 1st from 4:00-8:00 p.m. where a Scripture Service will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 2nd beginning at 9:30 a.m., in the mortuary, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
