Therese Marie "Terri" Brown

Therese "Terri" Marie Brown, age 64, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on February 4, 2026, in Toledo, Ohio. Terri was born on March 7, 1961, in Columbus, Ohio, to Richard D. Brown and Florence C. Perkins. She was raised in the Catholic faith and carried its values of compassion, service, and love throughout her life. She attended St. Ursula Academy for high school and later pursued her calling in nursing at the Toledo School of Practical Nursing, where she earned her LPN. Terri devoted her life to caring for others and was widely known and deeply respected for her work as a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse and hospice nurse. Over the years, she served countless patients and families with kindness and dignity while working at Riverside Hospital, Swan Pointe Nursing Home, Medical Mutual, Franciscan Care Center, Great Lakes Caring Hospice, and Mercy Medical College. Terri had a beautiful spirit-funny, bubbly, and full of warmth. She had a great sense of humor and a sweet soul that drew people to her. She was caring, compassionate, and selfless, always putting others before herself. Outside of work, she found joy in baking, sewing, reading, watching movies, and traveling with her children and beloved grandson-moments she cherished deeply. She is survived by her loving children, Lana Davis and Lance Davis; her cherished grandson, Landon Davis; her sister, Annette Vanderhorst, and brother-in-law Jay Vanderhorst; her nephews, Jason Vanderhorst and Jack Vanderhorst; her special friend, Archie Davis; and Devon Jordan, whom she loved like a son. Terri also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, coworkers, and patients whose lives she touched in lasting ways. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Aaron Davis; her father, Richard D. Brown; her mother, Florence C. Perkins; and a host of dear friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Road, Toledo, Ohio. Funeral services will take place on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., also at Coyle Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery, 6382 Monroe Street, Sylvania, Ohio 43560. A repass will be held at Trilby Park Shelter House, 3125 Shawnee Road, Toledo, Ohio 43613. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who donated toward the funeral arrangements and to all who have offered prayers, love, and support during this difficult time.
