Shirley Ann Billmaier, age 85, passed away on May 16, 2021 with her children by her side. Shirley was born on September 25, 1935 in Danbury, Iowa, to Thomas and Helen (Fitzpatrick) Langdon, both deceased. She graduated from Woodward High School in 1953. She worked as a payroll bookkeeper at Tiedtke's before leaving to pursue her true passion, being a stay-at-home mom. She married the love of her life, Daniel James Billmaier, on July 19, 1958, and they enjoyed 62 years together until his death in 2020. Shirley is survived by her sons, Christopher (Cheryl) Billmaier and Daniel (Marcia) Billmaier; daughters, Susan Billmaier, Julie (Ralf) Ebeling and Charlene (David) Miller; grandchildren, Lt. Steven, Michelle, and Nick Billmaier; Eric, Kevin, and Adam Billmaier; Melanie and Jessica Ebeling; and Kristin and Gregory Miller. Shirley will always be remembered for her kindness, grace and enduring strength, as well as her positive attitude. She was immensely loved and will be dearly missed. Family and friends will be received on Friday, May 21st, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a closing prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Road, in Toledo. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 22nd, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Toledo, where Shirley was a member for over 50 years. Interment will be private.
