Lynda Lee (Farmer) Jones, 74, passed away peacefully and lovingly in the arms of her daughter Elizabeth, on December 9, 2018 at the Sunset Village in Sylvania. She was born February 17, 1944 in Denver, CO to Leonard and Elizabeth (Bates) Farmer. Lynda was a member of the Ohio University Alpha Gamma Delta Chapter, and graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Lynda worked for Libby Glass for a time designing glasses. Some of the ones she designed were used in the movie Kramer vs Kramer. She also designed the very first billboard for FM 104 WIOT back in 1972. Lynda lived for her kids. She was always there for Scott and Elizabeth, nothing came before them. She did everything from her heart, never wanted anyone to feel unloved or uncared for. She wanted people to just be kind to each other. She was an amazing artist and had beautiful works in oil, clay, ink, fabric, watercolor, pencil. Her creative talents have spread to her crafty grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and spending time outdoors- especially autumn. Lynda is survived by her son Scott A. Jones, daughter Elizabeth (Cameron) Beck; her grandchildren Cassandra Jones, Ryan Clevenger, Kaylia (Kelly) John , Kristina Jones, Cody Beck, CJ Beck, and Michael Jones; her Great grandchildren Olivia Clevenger, Christian Celestino, Adelynn Celestino, Elzie John, Gracelynn Celestino, Zoey Jones, and Rowan John. Her sister Kimberly (Farmer) Parrish also survives. Lynda was preceded in death by her parents Leonard H. and Elizabeth J. Farmer and brother in law Larry Parrish. Please join the family to celebrate Lynda’s life at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd. on Thursday, December 13, from 3-7 p.m. with the funeral ceremony beginning at 7.
