John Francis Didion

John Francis Didion passed away peacefully on February 2, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born in Bellevue, Ohio to Leo and Ruth (Underdown) Didion. John worked for the Nickel Plate Rail road for nine years as a machinist and ICC inspector. He moved to Holland in 1956, where he took a position with the Toledo Board of Education as a heating maintenance repairman. He retired after thirty years of service. Survivors include his wife, Genevieve, son, Dale (Catherine), daughters Susan Long, Joan Kelly, and Jean (Bob) Jones; four grandchildren, Ashley (Drew Kreutter), Ryan and Ian Didion, and Christopher (Amy) Long. Visitation will be held at Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd. on Monday, February 5, from 6-8 p.m., with a Rosary Service at 7. The funeral mass will be held at St. Joan of Arc Church on Tuesday, February 6 at 1:00 p.m. with an hour of visitation beginning at 12. Interment will be private.
