Betty Smith Garcia Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Betty Garcia went home to be with her Savior February 2, 2022. She was met on her journey home by her husband, Eddie Garcia, her son, Matthew Danko, her mother, Sarah Stein, her father, Eugene Smith and her stepfather, Robert Stein who all proceeded her death. Betty was born in Romney, West Virginia on November 7, 1949. Betty worked for what was formally known as The Medical College of Ohio for twenty years as a Unit Clerk on the Oncology Unit and a Certified Health Unit Coordinator on the Rehab Unit. Betty was a member of One Hope Church. She is survived by her son Joseph J. Danko (Monique). She is also survived by her stepsons Eddie Garcia (Kel-ci) and Jesse Garcia (Amy). She is also survived by her stepdaughters Lei-Lana Kimble (Todd) and Nellie Robinson (Will). A total of sixteen grandchildren were the joy of her and her husband’s life. She is also survived by her two sisters, Rhonda Moore and Jacquelyn Stein. Visitation for Betty Garcia will be held on Tuesday February 8, 2022 from 2-7 pm.at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S Reynolds Rd. Funeral services will be held in the mortuary on Wednesday Feb, 9th at 9:45 am followed by interment services in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery at 11:00 am. In accordance with Betty’s wishes, the family suggests that anyone wishing to make a contribution in her name consider the donor’s area Humane Society or Cedar Creek’s Beyond Our Walls Mission program.
