    Betty Virginia Fallon

    January 6, 1928 - January 29, 2018

Betty V. Fallon entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 29, 2018. Betty was born to Ted Norts and Dorothy Kronsberger on January 6, 1928. Betty was married 67 years to Jim Fallon, a WWII veteran, who preceded her in death in 2014. Betty is survived by her loving children, Michael (Rita) Fallon of California, Chris (Doug Morningstar), Jennifer (John DeLucia); her grandchildren Leslie, Lisa, Gianni and Dominic; step-grandchildren Lisa and Michelle; seven great-grandchildren; and siblings Ted Norts, Pat Morrin, Diane Graeff. Jim and Betty began married life living in Point Place where Betty made lifelong friends. After short stays in California, Texas and Florida, Jim and Betty settled in Perrysburg. Betty was a devoted wife and mother who always put “family first” and took pride in her husband’s and children’s achievements. She was a devout believer who read her Bible every day, and volunteered twenty years for St. Luke’s Hospital Pastoral Care. Betty loved her card club and looked forward to playing with her “gal pals.” She was an avid sports fan, followed Notre Dame games, and loved her Detroit Tigers! She enjoyed Scrabble, puzzles, brain teasers, and reading a good book. Betty relished a good conversation whether by phone or in person, as she was deeply interested in the news of her family and friends. Betty will truly be missed by her family and friends in Ohio, and those she endeared through her visits to California. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 East River Road, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551, whose compassionate care eased Betty’s final days. A Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 26 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. with the funeral to begin at 11:00 at Zion Lutheran Church, 22 North Second St. in Waterville. A luncheon to celebrate her life will follow. Please leave a condolence message for the family at CoyleFuneralHome.com. God is love, and she who abides in love abides in God, and God in her. (1Jn4:16) Betty abides in the love of Christ, her family and friends.
