Bernadine T. "Bebe" Frische Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Bernadine "Bebe" T. Frische, 94, died on August 4, 2022 at Elizabeth Scott Nursing Home. She was born on January 9, 1928 to Marie and Oliver Baron. Bebe was a 1947 graduate of DeVilbiss High School, where she was a majorette for 3 years. After graduation, she attended Helen McHenry's Finishing and Modeling School, where Mrs. McHenry became her mentor. Due to Mrs. McHenry's guidance and support, Bebe embarked upon a modeling career that lasted until she suffered a heart attack at age 65. During her career she did freelance modeling in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Florida. Highlights of her experience include being named Miss New York Central/Union Station Dedication 1950, being chosen a Johnny Weissmuller Beauty Contest winner in 1950, and being named a Miss U.S. Television (Toledo) finalist in 1951. In 1954 she married Glenn J. Frische. Bebe and Glenn spent many years traveling, entertaining, and enjoying each other's company. They were blessed with one son, Steven Frische. Bebe was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Glenn and her brother Al Baron. She is survived by her loving, caring son Steven (Darlene), her grandchildren Kyle Frische (Kati Graham) and Mindy (Anthony) Lemle, great grandson Tanner Frische; brother Gene Baron and several nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd. on Thursday, August 11 from 2-8 p.m. with a Scripture Service at 7. The funeral will begin at Coyle on Friday, August 12 at 9:30, followed by the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church. Burial will be a Calvary Cemetery.
