Alexandra Goins
July 24, 1992 - April 17, 2022
God brought Ali’s soul home on Easter Sunday morning, his most sacred day. Alexandra Elisabeth Goins of Sylvania, Ohio was born July 24, 1992 at St Vincent’s Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio, 6 minutes before her twin brother, Austin. Ali was taken from us tragically and suddenly on April 17, 2022. She was a mother to the love of her life, her Boogie, Jackson Donald Edward Goins, his only parent. He was her sunshine, the light of her whole world and “You Are My Sunshine” was her ode to him. Their bond was unbreakable; he loved his mommy so much. Ali’s heart was full beyond measure. She was kind and generous with everyone she knew. She had a pure heart of gold. Her smile and dimples were the essence of her soul. She was artistic and her voice resonated within us all, it was her passion. She expressed herself through her voice. It was melodic, soothing and comforting; like that of an angel that she is now. She loved her family and her friends, always wanting to include everyone that she could, never letting anyone leave without giving a big hug. She loved life. Ali had the purest heart of gold, she never saw anything but the good in others and refused to believe people were anything less. Her family described Ali as having an unmeasurable amount of warmth, tenderness, and fondness for living creatures from all walks of life. Her love for animals of any kind was never ending. As a child she was always trying to bring home a stray dog, cat, squirrel, you name it; she would bring them home to nurture. Her latest was her dog Stella, her Stelly Belly. Her Catholic faith is what she cherished and followed in her heart. She attended Catholic grade schools and then Northview High School. She also attended college of business. She loved being around her friends, and having a good time, and she never let you leave without a big hug, kiss and her “I love you’s” the same way she always ended her phone calls with her “I love yous”. Ali could be a force of nature, magnetic. She was always surrounded by people that loved her. Her laughter was contagious. Mostly, Ali just loved life and wanted everyone to love life, too; laughing and telling jokes and bringing a smile to others' faces. Ali was always trying to help people, make them feel important, needed, loved, and included; always putting others before herself was her signature. Ali never expected that her life would ever be cut shortby a senseless act of violence. Left to carry on her legacy is her son Jackson Donald Edward Goins. Left to cherish her memory are her Mother, Amy Goins (Robert Brown) Father, Donald Goins (Carol Timmons). Her sister Alyssa (Donald Villarreal) and brothers Adam, twin brother Austin, brother Donny and nephew Donny Goins. Carols daughters, whom Ali considered sisters, Shana (Joshua) Bailey, Jane-L (Katy) Timmons, and nephews Colton and Dillon Bailey. Her Aunts: Kay Gifford, Jeane Swemba, Susan (Tim) Iorio, Laura (David) Rahanian, Lisa Armstrong, Cynthia (Charles) Skeens and her Uncles Michael Floyd and Patrick (Clare) Floyd; also her Aunts Dawn Keith, Desiree Goins, and Danette (Rich) Goins, and her special Aunt Sister Mary Corese Floyd, SND. and a vast number of cousins and friends who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents Edward and Lois Floyd, Her Paternal Grandparents Donnelda Schlichting, and Donald Goins, her Uncle Dr. Edward Floyd and his wife Susan Floyd, her Uncle Darron Goins and her cousins Nicholas Iorio and Daniel Goins. Especially her beloved friend Leslie Shivley whom we know met her at the gates of Heaven. She also leaves behind her dog Stella, whom she considered her daughter. This was a senseless and aggravated attack, from which Ali tried to escape, but succumbed to her injuries. Her life was cut so short and she will be dearly missed. We will always be left wanting more of Ali. May she reside in the choirs of the angels, guiding us throughout life with her comforting voice and warm soul. Donations will be accepted to GiveSendGo to provide a beautiful service in memory of Ali and for her son, Jackson’s future. Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S Reynolds Rd. On Friday April 29, 2022 from 2-8 pm where a Scripture Service will be held at 4:00 pm. Family and friends will also be received at the mortuary on Saturday starting at 9:00 am until 10:00 am when the procession will leave for St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sylvania Ohio where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Interment services will follow in Whitehouse Cemetery
