Sandra Lee Kinor

Sandra "Sandy" (Allard) Kinor Sandra "Sandy" Kinor, age 68, formerly of Perrysburg, passed away surrounded by her loving family at Pinebrook Memory Care in Milford, OH on March 3, 2024. Sandy was born to John "Gus" and Veronica "Louise" Allard in Detroit, MI and was raised in her early childhood living St. Clair Shores, MI. Eventually moving with family to Toledo, OH where she would graduate in 1973 from Bowsher High School. Sandy married Raymond Kinor in 1979 and raised their three children in the Toledo, OH area. Sandy enjoyed painting, lunching 'with the girls', and spending time with family. Spending most of her career with Owens-Illinois as an Executive Administrative Assistant, a job that she thoroughly enjoyed. Sandy loved the environment that OI created which fostered numerous long-lasting friendships. As an active volunteer through the OI United Way team Sandy frequently found ways to give back to the community. With a contagious smile and joyful heart Sandy always brought a positive light to those around her. Retiring from OI in 2015 Sandy was ready to be a full time Grandmother. She loved being 'grandma' and relished every moment with her grandchildren. Reading was a frequent past time that Sandy enjoyed. Sandy was also an animal lover, especially to her beloved Golden Retriever, Lily, who never left her side. Sandy is survived by her husband of 47 years, Raymond Kinor, her three children, Shelby (Antonio) Verne, Eric (Ashley) Kinor and Kevin Kinor; her six grandchildren, Sophia, Giovanni, Grace, Wyatt, Easton and Holliday, who all had a special place in her heart. Her brothers, Gary (Elaine) Allard and Jon (Nancy) Allard, and brother in law George Reamer also survive. She is preceded in death by her parents John "Gus" and Louise Allard and her sister Gail Reamer. Friends may visit Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S Reynolds Rd on Thursday, March 7 from 3:00 to 8:00, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at Coyle at 9:45 a.m. followed by Mass at St. Rose Church on Friday, March 8 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private. While we struggle to understand why Sandy was affected by Vascular Dementia at such a young age; we are beyond grateful to the nurses, aides, and pastoral support who took excellent care of Sandy during this challenging time.
