Patricia Harrel

Patricia Harrel, age 78 of Toledo, OH, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2024 while surrounded by her husband, David and her faithful companion, Tank. She was born to Dominic and Frances (Budzyn) Karamol on April 19, 1946. She was a graduate of Macomber Whitney High School. Patti married the loved of her life, David Harrel, on April 16, 1966 and together they raised 3 children. Patti spent her career working for Mercy Hospital as a Pharmacy Technician and at the Washington Local School District finishing her career as a Paraprofessional, until the time of her retirement. Patti was a member of the Bunco Club for over 50 years, the Moose Club #1579 and a faithful member of Christ the King Church for 56 years. She was also an avid reader, enjoyed spending time on social media but most of all she loved the special time that she spent with her family. Patti always said that her grandchildren were "the stars of her universe." Patti was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Terry and Jerry Karamol. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Dave; children, Angela (Donnie) Whitt, Greg (Janie) Harrel, Tricia Harrel; grandchildren, Amanda (Kyle) Downs, Alexa (Matt) Reilly, Zach (Emily) Whitt, Jude, Riley and Maggie Harrel, Austin Czarnecki and Jaiden Harrel; great-grandchildren, Ellie Downs, Lincoln Downs, Charlie Whitt, Teddy Reilly, and one more on the way; sister, Carolyn (Mike) Burzynski; brothers, Dennis (Marie) and Mark (Elaine) Karamol; sister-in-law, Marcia Karamol and her aunt, Diane Mielcarek and cousin, Joyce Cook as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 12th at Christ the King Church, 4100 Harvest Lane, Toledo, OH 43623, at 10:30 a.m. where the family will begin greeting guests at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be private.
