Mark Allen Miller

Mark A. Miller, age 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, July 7, 2018. He was born on May 17, 1954 to Mary (Rinna) and Richard Miller. He attended St. James Grade School and graduated from Central Catholic High School. Mark wrestled and played football at CCHS and was personally inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame in September 2011. In November 1973, he married his grade and high school sweetheart Marcia Bennett. In May 1982, his beautiful daughter, Mary was born. Mark was a very proud father. He worked in sales at 7up, Snyder’s of Hanover, owned his own business Double M Distributing and retired from Libbey Glass in 2016. Mark was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. He enjoyed all types of auto racing, horse racing, fishing, boating, hunting, coin collecting and going to the casino. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Mark “Millsey” had an infectious personality, always making people laugh with his one of kind sayings. He was a tough guy however was a very compassionate, kind, generous, funny and loving man. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Mary and his nephew, Tommy Miller Jr. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Marcia of 45 years, loving daughter, Mary; faithful dog, Murphy; brothers, Buddy (Kay), Patrick (Jean), Michael (Dawn), Jan, Tommy (Marsha); sisters, Pam (John) Pettee, Mary Jo (Kevin) Baucom, Janenne Marcus; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; cousins; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and all his many friends. Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., on Wednesday, July 11th from 3-8 p.m. where a Scripture Service will be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 12th beginning at 9:15 a.m., in the mortuary, followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 10 a.m. Interment will be private. Marcia and Mary would like to thank the Physicians and Nursing staff at the SICU and MICU at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center for their compassionate and excellent care they provided to Mark.
