Marjorie Louise Correa

The angels came this Christmas day to guide our mom away. Marjorie L. Correa passed away at Kingston Residence of Perrysburg, Ohio on December 25, 2016 after a long illness. She was born on July 3, 1926 in Framingham Massachusetts. She married Joseph Correa on July 17, 1947. Marge was a loyal, loving devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a friendly, loving neighbor who was never too busy to make time for her friends and will be missed by all who knew her. She was a strong woman who survived breast cancer for over 23 years. Marge was loved by everyone. It was common to see her holding hands and comforting other residence at Kingston. Her greatest joy was when she was surrounded by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed bingo, slot machines, volunteering, and margaritas. Just mentioning a trip to the Casino brought a smile to her face and brightened everyone’s day. Marge was an active member of the Maumee Retired Eagles (REAC) where she enjoyed many activities and trips over the years. Marge was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph Correa, son, Eugene Correa and all of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by 3 children, son, Joseph (Debbie) Correa, daughters, Debby Correa and Marie (Bobby) Richardson, 5 Granddaughters Darlene (Steve) Beaulieu, Missy (Steve) Zervas, Cortney (KC) Fleitz, Jessica (TJ) Waller, Crystal (Chase)Harmon and 13 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 30, 2015 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2255 Central Grove Ave, Toledo Ohio 43614 at 11:00 am where the family will greet guests at 10:00 am. Interment will be private for the family at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation please consider Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church We saw you grow so very tired with each passing day and hearts have grown more heavy as we saw you fade away. We held your hand in ours so like a lovely flower that once was strong and full of bloom, now wilting by the hour. We talked to you of many things that happened in our lives, the role you played for all of us Mother, Grandmother and Wife The time has come to let you go to bid you our last goodbye and say “We all love you so” Rest in peace Mom.
