Margaret Marie Mohler

Margaret Marie Mohler (Gallant), 96 years old, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2022. She was born in Toledo Ohio on January 23rd, 1926 to Gilbert and Mary Gallant. Margaret had a zest for life! She worked at Joseph's Supermarket as a non-food buyer and C&D Stamp Company. She won multiple national awards for her product and sales displays. She was also a successful entrepreneur for many years with a toy store business, J&M Estate Liquidators and MM Beauty Salon on Reynolds Corners for 26 years. She was a pet lover who always had a special dog or cat in her home. She enjoyed life to its fullest travelling to Europe, Mexico, New York City and an African Safari. She attended many Navy ship reunions for the USS San Juan with her husband Ed. Posey Lake, Michigan had a special place in her heart and she spent summers there for over 70 years welcoming many friends and family to her favorite place. Margaret also had a passion for antiquing and baking especially cakes, jellies, and desserts. She is preceded in death by her husband Edward Mohler, sister Leona Adamski and brothers Eugene and Gerald Gallant. She is survived by her son Terry Mohler and Ruthann (Garcia) of Whitehouse, OH. Grandchildren Nick Mohler (Heather), Maria Valosky (Christopher) and 3 great grandchildren Luke, Elena Valosky and Hannah Mohler. Margaret was also a Grandma Maggie to so many more people that she loved. She cherished her friends new and old. Her Mohler, Adamski, and Garcia Families all held a special place in her heart as did so many others! She was blessed to have wonderful neighbors and friends on Hurley Drive, at Posey Lake, and at her last residence at Story Point. Visitation will be at Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Road on Sunday April 3rd from 3-7 p.m. A Funeral ceremony will be held on Monday April 4th at Coyle at 12 p.m. with an hour of visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Ottawa Hill Memorial Park. A celebration of life will take place Monday April 4th from 3:30 - 7 p.m. with exact location to be determined.
