June Roshak

June (Mansor) Roshak, 86, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2023. June was born on June 1, 1936, in Toledo, to Joe and Rhea Mansor. She graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1954, and was active for many years helping to plan their class reunions. She also thoroughly enjoyed the monthly luncheons at Shawn's Back Door with her fellow Centralites when she could go. She spoke of her time at Central with such fondness. What a time she had!! June and her husband, Frank, were also active in Toledo's Kirby Club, celebrating her Lebanese heritage. June was married to the love of her life, Frank, on February 1, 1958. They enjoyed many happy years together participating in league bowling and planning family vacations. She especially loved beach vacations to Ocean City, MD with her family. June was a homemaker that always made time for her family. She was an active mom in her children's lives, from grade school room mother, gym teacher and scout leader, to attending her children's and grandkids sporting and religious events. She was a great cook who loved hosting dinners for her family on holidays and many other days throughout the year. Knitting was a favorite hobby of hers. June was a true people person and could strike up a conversation with anyone she met. She worked part-time as a clerk for the Bureau of Motor Vehicles for many years. June always had a smile on her face and was quick to burst out in laughter. She enjoyed life! Her later years presented a few challenges. Eventually becoming wheel-chair bound she found a way to adjust and push forward through the frustration of that and look for the reasons to smile, laugh and enjoy the moments life presented to her. She enjoyed & treasured time spent with dear friends & family ! June was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Jack Mansor and sister Naomi Neuser. She is survived and missed by her children, Karen (Jim) Laney, Tim (Mary) Roshak and Ken (Patti) Roshak. Her grandchildren, Jim (Nina) Laney, Megan (Danny) Sullivan, Chelsea (Joe) Ferrara, Kate Guoba, Kevin (Michelle) Roshak, Kyle Roshak, Matt Roshak, Mark (Christine) Roshak, Amy Roshak, Annie Roshak, Angela Roshak, John Paul Roshak, Luke Roshak, Nathan (Jessica) Roshak, Lauren Roshak, Jason Roshak. Great grandchildren, Leah, Mara, Mackinley, Emilia, Rosalie, Victoria, Lucy, Joel, Samuel, Susanna, Mason, AnnaBeth. And many nieces and nephews. Friends and family may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd. on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral services will begin in the mortuary on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 9:00 am, followed by a mass of Christian burial at St. Patrick's of Heatherdowns Church at 10 am.
