Carianne Elizabeth Hansen

Heaven has gained a Beautiful Angel - Carianne Elizabeth (McGee) Hansen, 37, a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Carianne was born on August 29, 1983, to Tim and Cindy (Thiel) McGee in Toledo. Carianne graduated from Central Catholic High School in 2001. After graduation, Carianne worked for Buckeye Broadband. While in high school at Central Catholic, Carianne met the love of her life, Scott Daniel Hansen. They were married in 2005 and started a family 2 years later ultimately having 6 children. Carianne enjoyed being with her family, exercising, and biking - several times riding in Bike to The Bay, where her last ride included a 100 mile ride in one day. Carianne was a Soccer, Baseball, and Football Mom and team manager for several Pacesetter Teams and was her children's biggest cheerleader. Everyone knew when Carianne was at a game cheering them on yelling "Tick Tock" from the sidelines. Carianne's greatest accomplishments was her family. Carianne loved her husband like no other and was the best Loving Mom to her 6 children. Her main purpose in life was her family - she loved them fiercely. She will always be remembered as a supportive sister and daughter and a great friend to many. This was very clear with all the prayers, support, and love she received over the past month. She commented while at Cleveland Clinic she could literally feel all the love and support and uplift of prayer. In addition to her parents, Carianne is survived by her loving devoted husband who ALWAYS calls her a "Fox"- Scott Hansen; children, Cheyanne Elizabeth, Trace Daniel, Clementine Rose, Bear Scott, Olive Louise, and Breaker Eugene; her fur babies Odin and Khaleesi; brothers, Tim (Megan) McGee, Shane McGee (Danielle Morris); grandmother, Carole McGee; father and mother-in-law, Thomas and Colleen Hansen; brothers-in-law, Tom (Keri) Hansen, Todd (Julie) Hansen; sister-in-law, Emily Hansen; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Norbert and Nancy Thiel and Clement McGee. Many thanks to the doctors and nurses at Mercy St. Vincent Neuro ICU for their loving care, dedication, and compassion to Carianne and our family during her stay. Reynolds Rd., Toledo, OH 43614, on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, from 2:00-8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 1:30pm at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 215 E. Front St., Perrysburg Ohio, 43551. (Face masks and social distancing will be required for the visitation and funeral) Interment St. Rose Cemetery, Perrysburg Ohio.
