Brian Victor Langenderfer

Brian Langenderfer, age 41 of south Toledo, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday March 23, 2014 in his home. Brian was born in Toledo Ohio on July 15, 1972 to Victor and Marcia Langenderfer. He was a graduate of E.L. Bowsher High School and attended the University of Toledo, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. He then transferred to Lourdes University where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business. Later he received a Master of Arts Degree with honors in Education. Brian worked as an Executive Recruiter for A.I.M.; then as an Account Manager for SYSCO Foods; Shearer Foods as a District Manager and was a Regional Manager for Prime Source Products. He also worked for Always Promoting Co. as an Account Manager. Brian was known as a fun loving guy with a great sense of humor, always quick with a joke and never a bad thing to say about anyone. He loved many sports, golf being his favorite. He won many awards and trophies for golf, softball and swimming. He was an avid Notre Dame and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Most of all Brian loved his daughter Elizabeth. He coached her softball and basketball teams for many years. He was extremely proud of her many accomplishments as an honor student and a member of the Central Catholic High School softball team for her Sophomore and Junior years. Brian is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Ann ; parents Victor and Marcia Langenderfer; brother Gregory Langenderfer; aunt, Susan Truckor; cousins Chad, Neil and Kent Truckor, and Elizabeth’s mother Laura Wolfram Kozak. He was predeceased by his grandparents Melvin and Doris Stoll and Victor and Virginia Langenderfer. The family will receive friends on Friday March 28, 2014 from 2-8 p.m. at the Coyle Funeral Home; 1770 S Reynolds Rd. where a Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will begin in the mortuary on Saturday March 29, 2014 at 9:30 am followed by the funeral Mass at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the St Paul’s Community Center, P.O. Box 9564, Toledo, OH 43697-9564 or a Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
